Thank you to over a dozen donors who gave between $10 and $180 to help Bongo and his wife pay their first mont's rent of $475.
The goal of $700 was not reached. However, what has been given is enough. Bongo's landlord graciously agreed to defer payment of the deposit as a lump sum and is accepting it in small weekly installments over the next couple of months.
Today (06/01/10), Bongo and his wife are able to move out of a motel room and into this stable and well-placed residence. They are confident that with the financial boost, they'll be able to cover all expenses moving forward.
