Values

  • Compassion

Love wins.  It is not about projects, programs, numbers or status.  It is about people.

(First Corinthians 13)

  • Hope

We believe that everyone can be restored and redeemed.  No one is too poor, too broken, too addicted or too far off to be helped.  We will always hope, in light of the Lord who is great and awesome.

(Nehemiah 4:14, Deuteronomy 30:4, Hebrews 11:1)

  • Integrity

We strive for honesty and integrity in all dealings–our thoughts, our lips, our actions, our finances.  We want to keep our word even when it hurts.  We welcome transparency, accountability and oversight.

(Psalm 15:1-5)

  • Simplicity

Streamlining and efficiency are important.  We desire fiscal and environmental simplicity.

(Philippians 4:11-12)

  • Involvement

We believe in getting our hands dirty (this can be on the field or in the prayer closet).  We believe in sacrifice and commitment.  We do not want to offer only what is convenient.  We do not want to be removed.  Hanging out with Jesus often means picking up a towel and washing feet.

(John 13:14)

  • Collaboration

The collective voice is very valuable to us.  Each one of us is an important part of the whole; we need each other to achieve maximum productivity and results.

(Proverbs 11:14, 1 Corinthians 12:14-20)

  • Creativity

Our God is creative.  We are made in His image, and made to create.  We believe in fostering an environment that nurtures inspiration and creativity. He is our source of this energy.

(Ephesians 2:10)

  • Excellence

We do not want to do anything half-way.  We believe God's grace abounds toward us, not only so we can complete the work, but so we can abound in the work.

(2 Corinthians 9:8)

  • Humility

We have nothing to offer.  The God who has transformed our lives has everything to offer.  We do not trust in our own power or might.  It is by His enabling grace that we labor and love.

(Romans 12:3, Zechariah 4:6)
